The Ford Piquette Plant sits at the corner of Piquette Ave and Beaubien Blvd in Detroit. Built in 1904, it was the second automobile production plant for the Ford Motor Company and birthplace of the Model T. Designated as a National Historic Landmark in 2006, the plant is now primarily used as a museum and event space.

With easy access from highway I-94, the plant is located just 2 blocks north of Midtown. There is free and secure parking available on-site. The ceremony and reception are being held at the same venue -- Ceremony will be on the 2nd floor and reception will be on the 3rd.

The tentative schedule and corresponding times:

• 430pm: Seating for ceremony
• 5pm: Ceremony
• 530pm: Cocktail hour
• 630pm: Reception
• 7pm: Dinner
• 830pm: Dancing!

Guests are welcome to explore the museum during cocktail hour while the wedding party is off-site for photos. There will be staff available for guided tours. A photo booth will be on the 3rd floor, located behind the bar.

The wedding party is staying at the MGM Grand Detroit. There is no hotel block available, but there will be a complimentary shuttle at the end of the evening to transport guests to the hotel. Due to popular events happening in Detroit the same day, we recommend reserving rooms as soon as possible.

• Will there be a bar? Yes, there will be a fully-stocked open bar.


• Are children invited? The venue is not a child-friendly location, and space is limited. We request that children do not attend and we appreciate your understanding.


• Is there a wedding registry? Your presence is what we really want, but if you wish to give us a wedding gift, we would be grateful for monetary gifts that will go towards this next chapter of our lives together.


• What's for dinner? There are 2 plated meal options:
  - Airline Chicken Breast with garlic whipped potatoes and asparagus
  - Coriander Crusted NY Strip with whipped potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts with tomato jam


• Are there other accommadations in the area? The Saint Regis hotel is a couple of blocks from the venue and offers cozy rooms at more affordable rates.


• Is the venue handicap accessible? It is. Walkways are spacious and there is elevator access on all 3 floors.


• When will the reception end? We will be wrapping up the festivities at the venue around 11pm.
